About Nican's Founder

With a sales and marketing career spanning well over twenty years, Nigel Wilkinson launched Nican in 2010.  After a career covering various sales roles, Nigel set up a web design company, WNW Design, in 2000 just as the Internet was taking off.  Over the next ten years the company grew to be one of the leading Internet companies in the South West.  As a result of this success and previous experience Nigel often found himself being asked for advice, particularly on sales and marketing related topics. 

It soon became clear that many businesses were struggling to achieve the level of sales they needed and were unable to access affordable advice in the flexible manner they needed it.  As a result and driven by a passion for improving the way sales and marketing is performed and helping other businesses, Nigel decided the solution was to launch a company offering the support businesses so clearly needed.  Thus Nican was born!

Fascinated by self-development and the effect simple ideas can have on individual and team goals, ambitions and results, Nigel has seen first-hand how behaviours, attitudes and outcomes can be influenced when identified, challenged and developed. 

In addition to his business interests, Nigel is married to Yoga Dance teacher Michelle, the father of teenage twins, Chairman of Exmouth Chamber of Commerce, an avid Networker, a Social Media commentator and a keen golfer and football supporter.
